Claudiu Valeca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Bara having to interfere. Dacian Cristea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Dudea, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dacian Cristea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Lucan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, FC AFC TULCEA's Dinu Lucan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dacian Cristea. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dacian Cristea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, WFL's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Lucan came free, but Dacian Cristea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Valeca in the 40th minute of play forced FC AFC TULCEA's goalkeeper Ernest Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Cristea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isac Buceceanu went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Laurențiu Siniştean kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Dacian Cristea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Stoian in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcu Martin made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Graur got free with Ernest Bara in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Graur in the 58th minute of play forced FC AFC TULCEA's goalkeeper Ernest Bara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
