Dorin Măguran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meziad. Lucian Lupeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Măguran having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Vintilă Ghimpu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeo Siclovan. When Pocruia AS's Tudor Enceanu in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meziad's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Pocruia AS getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Costică Filipoiu hit a great ball. Pocruia AS's Dorin Măguran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Stroie in the 54th minute of play. When Tudor Enceanu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Romeo Siclovan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Meziad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pocruia AS:s goal. The referee gave Pocruia AS a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Costică Filipoiu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Meziad's Romeo Siclovan. 3-0. Romeo Siclovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Ghimpu in the 75th minute of the match. Tudor Enceanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Siclovan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Enceanu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pocruia AS's Vintilă Ghimpu in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meziad's goalie prevented a goal. Dorin Măguran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Arghiroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
