The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the WFL defense, Isac Voinescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Cristea. The WFL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Cristea should have stopped the shot. In the 7th match minute, Calugarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Frumușanu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rareș Graur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugurel Murgoci was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Isac Voinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dacian Cristea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Calugarita played a much better game than WFL and deserved their victory. The WFL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
