Manole Bacanu started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Manole Bacanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Niculitel's Manole Bacanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Siclovan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Meziad's Romeo Siclovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Apostolescu in the 14th minute of play. If Mădălin Apostolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Siclovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Bacanu in the 19th minute of play. When Niculitel's Manole Bacanu in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Romeo Siclovan guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Romeo Siclovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Apostolescu in the 25th minute of the match. Manole Bacanu scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Siclovan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Mădălin Apostolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Siclovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Siclovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Bacanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Manole Bacanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Siclovan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Manole Bacanu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Niculitel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Bacanu couldn't finish the play. Romeo Siclovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Bacanu in the 43rd minute of the match. The Meziad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Niculitel were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucian Lupeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mădălin Apostolescu struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Romeo Siclovan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niculitel. A collision led to Meziad getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Narcis Stroie hit a great ball. Mădălin Apostolescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Arghiroiu's late challenge caught a Niculitel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Arghiroiu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Meziad getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Aurelian Arghiroiu hit a great ball. Mădălin Apostolescu in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romeo Siclovan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 80 minutes into the match, Niculitel's Doru Buciuman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Siclovan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niculitel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolae Anisie in the 82nd minute. Lucian Lupeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Niculitel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
