With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Lăcătuș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Maxim Teodoroiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The real DROBETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. The Poju players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. real DROBETA were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihăiţă Ghiondea to make the kick off.
