But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Nicolescu couldn't finish the play. Sabin Zegreanu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ferdinand Fințescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for roxoxo. roxoxo's Romeo Ghișerel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Nicolescu in the 34th minute of play. Romeo Ghișerel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Andreescu in the 37th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Urtica's goalkeeper Ferdinand Fințescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Vulcan. If Sabin Zegreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Vulcan to make the kick off. George Vulcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Fințescu having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, George Vulcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Fințescu. Urtica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Vulcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sebastian Nicolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Romeo Ghișerel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of roxoxo booed when Urtica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Jerca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes of play, roxoxo's George Vulcan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Fințescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sabin Zegreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ferdinand Fințescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Vulcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Toader Jerca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urtica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave roxoxo the free kick. If George Vulcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that George Vulcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Fințescu was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After 92 played minutes, roxoxo's Eugen Dinculescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinand Fințescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in roxoxo reached it. Gelu Ştefănuţ charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelu Ştefănuţ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gelu Ştefănuţ hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the game, Albert Petrulean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ferdinand Fințescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. roxoxo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
