Codrin Rusu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Marcel Tătaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Niculae Mălăncioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niculae Mălăncioiu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Brestelnic's Cristian Andrieșanu. But to his dismay, Cristian Andrieșanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Cristian Horea made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Morar. Brestelnic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Brestelnic getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dragoş Boboc hit a great ball. Cristian Andrieșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Niculae Mălăncioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Andrieșanu in the 25th minute of play forced Bagy FC's goalkeeper Niculae Mălăncioiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Horea struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dragoş Morar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagy FC. In the 31st minute of the match Gavril Bâlea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragoş Morar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Cristian Andrieșanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brestelnic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Andrieșanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Marcel Tătaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Mălăncioiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cristian Andrieșanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Mălăncioiu having to interfere. The Bagy FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brestelnic were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Patriciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Marcel Tătaru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcel Tătaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Mălăncioiu having to interfere. Niculae Mălăncioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Tătaru in the 69th minute of play. Fabian Patriciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dragoş Morar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petru Caramitru charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Caramitru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brestelnic getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Petru Caramitru hit a great ball. Cristian Horea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the game, Bagy FC's Fabian Patriciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dragoş Morar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Brestelnic's Dragoş Boboc suffered a sore foot after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Fânaru during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Bagy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Fânaru to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Patriciu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dragoş Morar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagy FC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
