Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Bagy FC's Fabian Patriciu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Bagy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Ielciu came free, but Niculae Mălăncioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niculae Tătaru kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Poju's Niculae Rotariu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Grigore Lăcătuș was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Fabian Patriciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabian Patriciu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Fabian Patriciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Poju's Moise Zorlescu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Grigore Lăcătuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Patriciu in the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Cristian Horea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bagy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Horea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Poju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Butuc to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Patriciu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grigore Lăcătuș. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Cristian Horea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Patriciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grigore Lăcătuș having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mihăiţă Ghiondea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poju's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Ghiondea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Mălăncioiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mihăiţă Ghiondea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Mălăncioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Ielciu in the 39th minute of play. Nicolae Rusu charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolae Rusu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Bagy FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Rusu. Mugur Ielciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Mălăncioiu having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Niculae Tătaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grigore Lăcătuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Patriciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavril Bâlea thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Niculae Mălăncioiu, a very annoying self made goal in the 50th minute which led to 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugur Ielciu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Poju's Vintilă Butuc got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mugur Ielciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Niculae Mălăncioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Fabian Patriciu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Poju's Grigore Lăcătuș. Grigore Lăcătuș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Horea in the 67th minute of play forced Poju's goalkeeper Grigore Lăcătuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Mălăncioiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Ielciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Mugur Ielciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Mălăncioiu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bagy FC's zone, Mihăiţă Ghiondea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Mălăncioiu came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Ghiondea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Poju's Mugur Ielciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Mălăncioiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Patriciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Grigore Lăcătuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Bârlă hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Niculae Rotariu, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fabian Patriciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bagy FC had won after a very even match.
