In the 8th minute, Augustin Ştoia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dinamo Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, FC Dinamo Buzau's Tiberiu Săndulescu got control of the ball when Olimpiu Boldur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, balaur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Manciulescu came free, but Maxim Istrăteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo Buzau's Olimpiu Manciulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxim Istrăteanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, balaur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Baba to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, FC Dinamo Buzau's Augustin Ştoia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Petre Brânza, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The wind increased when Augustin Ştoia made the kick off in the second half. When Nae Mirciulescu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dinamo Buzau's protests and gave Nae Mirciulescu a yellow card for diving instead. 56 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Vaida came free, but Tiberiu Săndulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olimpiu Manciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Manciulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Manciulescu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of balaur FC's Maxim Istrăteanu. Maxim Istrăteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Manciulescu got free with Maxim Istrăteanu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dinamo Buzau's zone, Olimpiu Boldur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Săndulescu came out of the goal and Olimpiu Boldur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Dinamo Buzau booed when balaur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Bălan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olimpiu Manciulescu got free with Maxim Istrăteanu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Gică Vaida made a precise shot to the right of Tiberiu Săndulescu. FC Dinamo Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The audience was convinced that Gică Vaida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiberiu Săndulescu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Maxim Istrăteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Manciulescu in the 96th minute. The FC Dinamo Buzau players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
