Isac Albescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Domnescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Toader Ciorobîtcă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudiu Ciupe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Şelaru having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marceni CSM's zone, Nicu Apostol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Albescu came out of the goal and Nicu Apostol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Toader Domnescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marceni CSM's Isac Albescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Augustin Donecea managed to get in a good position for a shot. rosiori fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Donecea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Albescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Toader Ciorobîtcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabian Şelaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Toader Domnescu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the rosiori fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toader Domnescu couldn't finish the play. If Augustin Donecea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Daniel Crețulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rdth minute of the game Claudiu Ciupe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rosiori fc's Fabian Şelaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the rosiori fc defense, Claudiu Ciupe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Şelaru. The rosiori fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Şelaru should have stopped the shot. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when rosiori fc's Toader Domnescu in the 44th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Isac Albescu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Marceni CSM through an amazing save. 46 minutes into the match, Marceni CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Domnescu came free, but Isac Albescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Augustin Donecea fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored rosiori fc's protests and gave Augustin Donecea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to rosiori fc getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Augustin Donecea hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toader Ciorobîtcă to make the kick off. Augustin Donecea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Şelaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Ciorobîtcă in the 55th minute of play. Toader Ciorobîtcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Şelaru having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Marceni CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Domnescu came free, but Isac Albescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudiu Ciupe charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudiu Ciupe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudiu Ciupe might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Şelaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudiu Ciupe ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Domnescu in the 80th minute of play forced Marceni CSM's goalkeeper Isac Albescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Claudiu Ciupe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Şelaru. rosiori fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Ciupe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Claudiu Ciupe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fabian Şelaru made a huge save. Isac Albescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Domnescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 97 minutes into the match, rosiori fc's goalkeeper Fabian Şelaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudiu Ciupe. The rosiori fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marceni CSM's performance. The match ended with a win for Marceni CSM.
