Alexandru Ghizdeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Molani CSM's Alexandru Cornea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Şerb in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Gabriel Petran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Andrei Cara came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ofsenita CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Cara couldn't finish the play. Alexandru Ghizdeanu struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Viorel Ghiciușca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molani CSM. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandru Cornea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Ofsenita CSS booed when Molani CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Slătineanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nechifor Şerb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alexandru Cornea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Molani CSM's Alexandru Ghizdeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ofsenita CSS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
