Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sever Zmeu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Ciulei in the 4th minute of play forced Jupanu's goalkeeper Corneliu Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mihail Morar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Pascariu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costică Pascariu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Costică Pascariu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sever Zmeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, DINAMO BUCURESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Zmeu came free, but Bogdan Dănciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Dănciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Albu in the 32nd minute of play. Bogdan Dănciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Zmeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolae Albu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Dănciulescu having to interfere. Remus Ciulei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half DINAMO BUCURESTI were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Remus Ciulei made the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Dănciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Zmeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliodor Focșa's late challenge caught a Jupanu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliodor Focșa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Nicolae Albu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bogdan Dănciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Albu in the 76th minute of play. Mihail Morar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes Jupanu got a freekick which was hit by Marian Vuia. After 82 minutes Jupanu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Costică Pascariu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Costică Pascariu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Corneliu Vuia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 83 minutes into the game, Jupanu's Sever Zmeu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Dănciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Sever Zmeu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Dănciulescu was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. If Remus Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
