Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Sever Zmeu made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, Sorin Iliescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corneliu Vuia. Sorin Iliescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sorin Iliescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Valer Suciu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corneliu Vuia. The goal made the score 2-1. Nicolae Albu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Călin Mereuță, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sever Zmeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Nicolae Albu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jupanu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Albu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Gelu Costescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Albu in the 34th minute of play. Corneliu Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Suciu in the 43rd minute of the match. Valer Suciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vuia having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Suciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gelu Costescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Zmeu in the 55th minute of the match. Valer Suciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Valer Suciu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Suciu couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Sorin Iliescu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Jupanu's Corneliu Vuia. Corneliu Vuia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valer Suciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Corneliu Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurel Șora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Nicolae Albu could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Gelu Costescu however easily saved by the left post. Aron Goanță's late challenge caught a ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Goanță helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Jupanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Goanță to maneuver through the defense. When ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Sorin Iliescu in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jupanu's goalie prevented a goal. Sever Zmeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jupanu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
