Aurel Iacobescu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Fabian Gheban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fintoaga's Panait Beca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panait Beca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Gheban in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Valer Boieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fintoaga defense, Fabian Gheban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Beca. The Fintoaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Beca should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Fabian Gheban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panait Beca was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Mereacre got free with Robert Ţirpe in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panait Beca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Gheban's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Panait Beca came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Galactic Iasi's Fabian Gheban. But to his dismay, Fabian Gheban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fabian Mereacre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fintoaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Mereacre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Ţirpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavril Hizo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Fintoaga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fintoaga's Panait Beca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Ilarie in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Gheban in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panait Beca saved Fintoaga from getting behind. After 48 played minutes Fintoaga got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Hizo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gavril Hizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Coposu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Coposu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 65 minutes, Gavril Hizo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fintoaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavril Hizo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Pârlog in the 66th minute of play forced Galactic Iasi's goalkeeper Robert Ţirpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Galactic Iasi's Rareș Drăgănoiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Panait Beca. Panait Beca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Hizo in the 80th minute of play forced Galactic Iasi's goalkeeper Robert Ţirpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fintoaga getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gavril Hizo hit a great ball.
