After 11 played minutes, Sohodolu CSS's Aurel Bărbat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panait Beca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sohodolu CSS reached it. A collision led to Fintoaga getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fabian Mereacre hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Roşoga got free with Panait Beca in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Finteșteanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Panait Beca, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Fintoaga's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Trifu came free, but Panait Beca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Claudiu Trifu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sohodolu CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Trifu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Beca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radu Roşoga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Panait Beca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Fintoaga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Radu Roşoga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Claudiu Trifu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panait Beca made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Radu Roşoga sent off a good shot on target. Claudiu Trifu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Claudiu Trifu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fintoaga's Cornel Antipa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Claudiu Trifu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panait Beca having to make a save. When Radu Roşoga came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sohodolu CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Roşoga couldn't finish the play. Radu Roşoga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Panait Beca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Roşoga, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Fintoaga got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Iacobescu. Petre Pârlog's late challenge caught a Sohodolu CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Pârlog helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Petre Pârlog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Laurențiu Finteșteanu fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sohodolu CSS's protests and gave Laurențiu Finteșteanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Sohodolu CSS got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Finteșteanu. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sohodolu CSS fully deserved thier win.
