Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Speranta Sibiu's Emanuel Datcu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avram Loghin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Cazimir Bobocea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Șerban Bărănescu having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Speranta Sibiu's zone, Cazimir Bobocea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Bărănescu came out of the goal and Cazimir Bobocea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Șerban Bărănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Bobocea in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Cazimir Bobocea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Bărănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Speranta Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Loghin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Bobocea in the 23rd minute of play forced Speranta Sibiu's goalkeeper Șerban Bărănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Speranta Sibiu's Șerban Bărănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Speranta Sibiu from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Speranta Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Călin Uduleanu. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Pompiliu Alucai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Avram Loghin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pompiliu Alucai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Bărănescu having to interfere. Șerban Bărănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Bobocea in the 38th minute of the match. When Ujfalu CS's Pompiliu Alucai, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ujfalu CS. In the 41st minute Cazimir Bobocea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Bărănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Bărănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompiliu Alucai in the 43rd minute. If Pompiliu Alucai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Bobocea made a kick off. Speranta Sibiu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciprian Pupăzan in the 55th minute. Ujfalu CS's Cazimir Bobocea got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Pompiliu Alucai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Bărănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Speranta Sibiu's zone, Cazimir Bobocea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Bărănescu came out of the goal and Cazimir Bobocea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Pompiliu Alucai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Speranta Sibiu's Șerban Bărănescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Șerban Bărănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Alucai, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Pompiliu Alucai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Șerban Bărănescu. Speranta Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pompiliu Alucai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Ujfalu CS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
