Romeo Şimonca's late challenge caught a Fintoaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferestrau's Nicu Bocșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Hizo in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Claudiu Ungureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes, Eduard Păuceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferestrau and the Fintoaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduard Păuceanu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basarab Şuplăcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabian Mereacre scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Bocșa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduard Păuceanu lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 62nd minute, one of Ferestrau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferestrau. The referee gave Fintoaga a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anton Hurgoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ferestrau's Nicu Bocșa. 3-1. Daniel Brăiloiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Mereacre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nicu Bocșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Bocșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Hizo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Şimonca hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fabian Mereacre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Bocșa having to interfere.
