Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Gheban to make the kick off. Galactic Iasi's Robert Ţirpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Trifu in the 53rd minute of play. Laurențiu Finteșteanu's late challenge caught a Galactic Iasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurențiu Finteșteanu helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Galactic Iasi's Robert Ţirpe got control of the ball when Radu Roşoga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radu Roşoga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudiu Trifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robert Ţirpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Roşoga got free with Robert Ţirpe in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Ţirpe was a little too slow when Radu Roşoga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-1. When Fabian Gheban came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Galactic Iasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Gheban couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Galactic Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Trifu came free, but Robert Ţirpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Radu Roşoga made a precise shot to the right of Robert Ţirpe. Galactic Iasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Radu Roşoga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Galactic Iasi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sohodolu CSS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
