Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ioan Duldurescu started the match with the kick off. Nechifor Aldescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Pantiș in the 6th minute of play forced L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goalkeeper Nechifor Aldescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gigel Pantiș came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Rosenau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigel Pantiș couldn't finish the play. Gigel Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Aldescu having to interfere. Alin Turcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Soare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petru Şelaru hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goalkeeper Nechifor Aldescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Stătescu. Nistor Stătescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nechifor Aldescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Pantiș in the 23rd minute of play. Gigel Pantiș scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nechifor Aldescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Rosenau's Gigel Pantiș slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nechifor Aldescu. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Nistor Stătescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nechifor Aldescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Nistor Stătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Pantiș in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Aldescu saved L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila from getting behind. Nistor Stătescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gigel Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Aldescu having to interfere. Nechifor Aldescu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Nistor Stătescu sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Pantiș to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gigel Pantiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosenau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Pantiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Stătescu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Aldescu saved L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's zone, Nistor Stătescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Aldescu came out of the goal and Nistor Stătescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Soare got free with Alin Turcu in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Aldescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Iureș in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Nistor Stătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Aldescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Lucaci hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Gigel Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Aldescu having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Stătescu came free, but Nechifor Aldescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nichifor Liciu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rosenau's Alin Turcu. 2-1. Gigel Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Aldescu having to interfere. Nechifor Aldescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Stătescu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Pantiș in the 93rd minute of play forced L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goalkeeper Nechifor Aldescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Rosenau's Gigel Pantiș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nechifor Aldescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Pantiș in the 99th minute of play forced L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goalkeeper Nechifor Aldescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosenau's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
