Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flavius Daimacă kicked off to start the match. When Ionuț Bobariu came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the cloudboi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Bobariu couldn't finish the play. When cloudboi's Ştefan Zbârnea in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Sabia Galati's goalie prevented a goal. Ştefan Zbârnea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ferdinand Vulpescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, FC Sabia Galati's Gheorghe Datcu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Paul Bălace's late challenge caught a cloudboi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Bălace helped the player get up and apologised. Ştefan Zbârnea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ferdinand Vulpescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Panțâru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinand Vulpescu was a little too slow when Ştefan Zbârnea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ionuț Bobarius short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Ferdinand Vulpescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Zbârnea to strike the kick off in the second half. Ion Panțâru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Eftimescu having to interfere. In the 57th play minute Ion Panțâru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Codruț Eftimescu. 2-1. In the 61st minute Ştefan Zbârnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Vulpescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Vulpescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Zbârnea in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, cloudboi's Codruț Eftimescu got control of the ball when Ion Panțâru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Ştefan Zbârnea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Sabia Galati's Ferdinand Vulpescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ionuț Bobariu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Vulpescu was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FC Sabia Galati's zone, Ionuț Bobariu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Vulpescu came out of the goal and Ionuț Bobariu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Zbârnea in the 86th minute of play forced FC Sabia Galati's goalkeeper Ferdinand Vulpescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Panțâru got free with Codruț Eftimescu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudiu Buciuman hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. cloudboi had won after a very even match.
