Filip Dincă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Zegreanu in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Iustinian Flintașu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletic Club Brasov's Ştefan Iovanovici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carjei's Filip Dincă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Zegreanu in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Carjei's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Răchiteanu came free, but Filip Dincă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Athletic Club Brasov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustinian Flintașu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustinian Flintașu was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 56 in the game by Cristinel Răchiteanu from a close distance when the talented Filip Dincă managed to make a qualified save. Carjei's players were relieved. After having played for 61 minutes, Avram Ionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carjei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Ionescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Athletic Club Brasov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Cândreanu to maneuver through the defense. Ştefan Iovanovici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Aluneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carjei's Filip Dincă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Zegreanu in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carjei's zone, Daniel Gioagă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Dincă came out of the goal and Daniel Gioagă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carjei's Filip Dincă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Carjei from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Mihnea Mavrodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Iovanovici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Iovanovici came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Carjei's Iustinian Flintașu. But to his dismay, Iustinian Flintașu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Mihnea Mavrodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Iovanovici having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Mihnea Mavrodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Iovanovici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Răchiteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Athletic Club Brasov players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carjei.
