An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Cristoiu in the 4th minute of play forced AS PODARI's goalkeeper Narcis Bădila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Octav Tarcu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narcis Bădila. Octav Tarcu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Petruț Miniș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Narcis Bădila firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th minute, Marin Siniştean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avram Ghișe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Liviu Cristoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Narcis Bădila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octav Tarcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Narcis Bădila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Ghișe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Siniştean, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to AS PODARI getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Radu Zafiu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Octav Tarcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narcis Bădila was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 31stth minute of the game Octav Tarcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS PODARI's Narcis Bădila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd match minute, AS PODARI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Gologan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Plesa booed when AS PODARI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Lăzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilian Liciu to strike the kick off in the second half. Petruț Miniș struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Narcis Bădila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plesa. Sergiu Lăzan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Petruț Miniș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Bădila having to interfere. The supporters of Plesa booed when AS PODARI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Lăzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AS PODARI's Iustin Lipoveanu got a free kick in the 65th minute. Narcis Bădila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petruț Miniș went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 70thth minute of the game Liviu Cristoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS PODARI's Narcis Bădila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, AS PODARI's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Miniș came free, but Narcis Bădila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcis Bădila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Cristoiu in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Plesa getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Panait Gavruță hit a great ball. A long shot from Denis Gheție in the 78th minute of play was well struck, but Avram Ghișe made a really good save at the right post. In the 79th minute, Panait Gavruță made a precise shot to the right of Narcis Bădila. AS PODARI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Petruț Miniș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Octav Tarcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Avram Ghișe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Gologan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes, Liviu Cristoiu made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. AS PODARI's Narcis Bădila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petruț Miniș in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Bădila saved AS PODARI from getting behind. AS PODARI's Narcis Bădila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Cristoiu in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Plesa fully deserved thier win.
