A collision led to Dream On getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Damian Amurăriței hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC. Sălăjeni 1997's Radu Firoiu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dumitru Schipor took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristinel Herescu. Cristinel Herescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aristide Rebengiuc made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alexandru Sima sent off a good shot on target. If Dumitru Schipor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihăiţă Duca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristinel Herescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Grigoriu in the 23rd minute of play. Cristinel Herescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Grigoriu in the 28th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dumitru Schipor made a kick off. Dumitru Schipor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cristinel Herescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC. Avram Grigoriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC. Sălăjeni 1997's George Ivăncioiu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Marcel Marchiș kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes, FC. Sălăjeni 1997's Damian Sădeanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristide Rebengiuc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC. Sălăjeni 1997 reached it. Avram Grigoriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sălăjeni 1997's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Schipor came free, but Cristinel Herescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Avram Grigoriu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristinel Herescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristinel Herescu was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Dumitru Schipor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dumitru Schipor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 92 minutes into the match, FC. Sălăjeni 1997's goalkeeper Cristinel Herescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avram Grigoriu. Sebastian Vorniceanu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Aristide Rebengiuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Sădeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dream On walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
