Galin's Aron Caramitru got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play, Galin's Francisc Atodiresei made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Neaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Emanuel Popic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garbou's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galin the free kick. A hard shot 22 in the game by Francisc Atodiresei from a close distance when the talented Marian Neaga managed to make a qualified save. Garbou's players were relieved. If Francisc Atodiresei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Garbou's zone, Francisc Atodiresei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Neaga came out of the goal and Francisc Atodiresei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Aron Caramitru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Neaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Atodiresei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Neaga having to interfere. If Aron Caramitru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Aron Caramitru made the kick off in the second half. The Galin fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Galin's Aron Caramitru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Garbou's Marian Neaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Caramitru in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Garbou's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Atodiresei came free, but Marian Neaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisc Atodiresei struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marian Neaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galin. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Francisc Atodiresei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galin's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Atodiresei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Neaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
