After 27 played minutes, Craiova's Martin Pordea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristide Rebengiuc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Craiova reached it. Aristide Rebengiuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Cucerdean went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eusebiu Petrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Schipor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebiu Petrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Schipor in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Dream On was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Grigoriu to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Dream On's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Buligan came free, but Aristide Rebengiuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avram Grigoriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Petrea having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Grigoriu in the 45th minute of play forced Craiova's goalkeeper Eusebiu Petrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remus Cucerdean made a kick off. Mihai Negură helped the player get up and apologised. Mihai Negură kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Octavian Tăutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristide Rebengiuc came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Craiova's Remus Cucerdean. But to his dismay, Remus Cucerdean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Avram Grigoriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eusebiu Petrea made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Craiova's Lucrețiu Cârju got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Constantin Ailenei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Craiova's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
