Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octav Tarcu got the match started through his kick off. When Felix Mitrofan fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Craiova's protests and gave Felix Mitrofan a yellow card for diving instead. When Felix Mitrofan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 8 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Craiova's Felix Mitrofan got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Plesa booed when Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Pordea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octav Tarcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusebiu Petrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Cristoiu in the 15th minute of the match. Cristian Topală charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Topală the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Craiova's Cristian Topală got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Panait Gavruță came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Plesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panait Gavruță couldn't finish the play. Craiova's Eusebiu Petrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Tarcu in the 28th minute of play. Octav Tarcu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebiu Petrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octav Tarcu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Craiova getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Martin Pordea hit a great ball. Octav Tarcu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Eusebiu Petrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plesa. After a defensive mix-up in Craiova's zone, Liviu Cristoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Petrea came out of the goal and Liviu Cristoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Plesa's Dorel Cucerdean seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dorel Cucerdean the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Plesa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dorel Cucerdean had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Craiova's zone, Panait Gavruță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Petrea came out of the goal and Panait Gavruță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Tarcu in the 46th minute of play forced Craiova's goalkeeper Eusebiu Petrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avram Ghișe made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Adrian Buligan sent off a good shot on target.
In the 52nd minute, Octavian Tăutu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Buligan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Avram Ghișe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Craiova. Avram Ghișe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Tăutu in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Pordea to maneuver through the defense. Octav Tarcu, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Panait Gavruță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eusebiu Petrea made a huge save. Eusebiu Petrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Tarcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Tăutu in the 78th minute of play forced Plesa's goalkeeper Avram Ghișe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorin Brezoi's late challenge caught a Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorin Brezoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Plesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Brezoi to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Craiova's Cristian Topală sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Ghișe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Buligan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, Mihai Negură mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Craiova and the Plesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihai Negură hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Craiova's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
