Carjei's Filip Dincă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Chivulescu in the 4th minute of play. Valer Borcea kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Iustinian Flintașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iustinian Flintașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marian Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carjei's Iustinian Flintașu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Flintașu got free with Marian Neaga in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Mircea Dedu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ştefan Târban took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filip Dincă. Carjei's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustinian Flintașu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Neaga saved Garbou from getting behind. The supporters of Carjei booed when Garbou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Buciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garbou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Povară was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustinian Flintașu was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Iustinian Flintașu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Neaga was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 60 minutes, Iustinian Flintașu made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Garbou's Marian Neaga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
