Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Iustinian Flintașu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Filip Dincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Cucerdean in the 12th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Martin Pordea. 20 minutes into the match, Mihnea Mavrodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebiu Petrea. Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihnea Mavrodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Cucerdean in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Dincă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gheorghe Aluneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carjei's Filip Dincă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Buligan in the 32nd minute of play. The corner ended in Cristian Topală almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carjei's Filip Dincă did a great save. Filip Dincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Tăutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carjei's goalkeeper Filip Dincă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Carjei booed when Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Cârju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Tăutu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Filip Dincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carjei's zone, Remus Cucerdean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Dincă came out of the goal and Remus Cucerdean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Cucerdean to strike the kick off in the second half. Filip Dincă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Tăutu in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Cucerdean in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Dincă saved Carjei from getting behind. After 56 played minutes Carjei got a freekick which was hit by Paul Buciu. In the 59th match minute, Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Negură to maneuver through the defense. Remus Cucerdean kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Filip Dincă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Tăutu in the 68th minute of the match. Remus Cucerdean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Adrian Buligan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Buligan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Cucerdean in the 78th minute of play forced Carjei's goalkeeper Filip Dincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craiova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Topală in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Cristian Topală almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carjei's Filip Dincă did a great save. In the 81stth minute of the game Remus Cucerdean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carjei's Filip Dincă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Craiova's Mihai Negură suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mihnea Mavrodin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Mavrodin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Craiova's Cornel Bojincă was substituted for Mihai Negură. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
