When Octav Tarcu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Plesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Tarcu couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Liviu Cristoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plesa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Plesa's Avram Ghișe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Flintașu in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Plesa's Liviu Cristoiu got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes, Dorel Cucerdean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plesa and the Carjei players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Plesa getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dorel Cucerdean hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Dorel Cucerdean put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Plesa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Plesa:s Avram Ghișe showed great skill when he stopped Iustinian Flintașu:s penalty. Avram Ghișe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Aluneanu in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Plesa's Octav Tarcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Dincă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 36 played minutes Plesa got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Miniș. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Cristoiu in the 38th minute of play forced Carjei's goalkeeper Filip Dincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Octav Tarcu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Plesa fans jumped to their feet. If Gheorghe Aluneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Ghișe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustinian Flintașu in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes, Plesa's Dorin Brezoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filip Dincă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plesa reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustinian Flintașu was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pompiliu Isăcescu during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Carjei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Isăcescu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Plesa's Panait Gavruță got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Octav Tarcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Filip Dincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Cristoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Dincă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Panait Gavruță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Filip Dincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Ghișe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Flintașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Avram Ghișe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Aluneanu in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Tarcu in the 77th minute of play forced Carjei's goalkeeper Filip Dincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plesa's attentive Dorin Brezoi managed to snatch the ball when Ionuț Ilica made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panait Gavruță in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Dincă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Octav Tarcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, Carjei's Mihnea Mavrodin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avram Ghișe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Iustinian Flintașu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avram Ghișe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The Plesa players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carjei from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
