Eric Ciulei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Troncotă in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Botiz getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Leonard Murgescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Botiz's zone, Cezar Rareș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Ciulei came out of the goal and Cezar Rareș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Vrejiu in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valeriu Ozon saved OLIMPIC BOCSA from getting behind. If Alin Herescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Botiz booed when OLIMPIC BOCSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Pencu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Vrejiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriu Ozon having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
