SOFYA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Cucerzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Burtescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Dumitrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, F.C. SOFYA's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Dumitrache came free, but Ciprian Burtescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dinu Morovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, FC Ciresica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Mercea to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Răzvan Frențiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. SOFYA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pompiliu Spiridon to make the kick off. The supporters of F.C. SOFYA booed when FC Ciresica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Chiriță didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. SOFYA's Ciprian Burtescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Velicu in the 55th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, F.C. SOFYA's goalkeeper Ciprian Burtescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Dumitrache. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Paul Ailioaiei put in a rough tackle. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for F.C. SOFYA! 1-1 came in the 72nd minute when Gabriel Mardarescu all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ciprian Burtescu. F.C. SOFYA's George Cucerzan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mircea Diaconu in the 75 minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, F.C. SOFYA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Spiridon to maneuver through the defense. Pompiliu Spiridon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Octavian Gârleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Dinu Morovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Ciresica's Gabriel Mardarescu got a free kick in the 95th minute.
