Iustinian Smarandache charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Smarandache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iustinian Smarandache hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes Borussia Buzău's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliodor Boieraș who took care of the corner kick. Eliodor Boieraș made a great header on OLIMPIC BOCSA's corner, it was just that Borussia Buzău's Liviu Săvoiu managed to reach the ball for a save. After 21 played minutes OLIMPIC BOCSA got a freekick which was hit by Cezar Rareș. Fabian Babarada was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. OLIMPIC BOCSA's Ionel Troncotă got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ştefan Costandache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriu Ozon having to interfere. Ştefan Costandache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gheorghe Mateescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valeriu Ozon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Anton Birișu fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OLIMPIC BOCSA's protests and gave Anton Birișu a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Borussia Buzău's Fabian Babarada got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valeriu Ozon.
