Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Delutu's Gelu Tatu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ilie Itoafă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Jucu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gheorghe Istrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihai Gherdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Tatu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Delutu booed when AC Seini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Săvulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Gelu Tatu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toader Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gelu Tatu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delutu's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Tatu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Gherdan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Calota during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vali Calota kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Tiberiu Drăgan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Itoafă skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Jucu in the 40th minute of play forced Delutu's goalkeeper Ilie Itoafă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Dumitru Mendrea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Itoafă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 46 played minutes AC Seini got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Săvulescu. With his leg Mihai Gherdan managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Delutu's Mihai Maiorescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gheorghe Istrate to strike the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Istrate succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. AC Seini's Mihai Gherdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Tatu in the 57th minute of play. Gelu Tatu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, Delutu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Voica to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Mendrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilie Itoafă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Gheorghe Istrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gelu Tatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
