SOFYA's supporters rose to their feet, but Pompiliu Spiridon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Berca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinu Morovan kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Pompiliu Spiridon might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelian Berca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pompiliu Spiridon ran back to his position shaking his head. After taking down the ball on F.C. SOFYA's corner Paul Ailioaiei fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelian Berca quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18th minute, Petruț Ilie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelian Berca made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dinu Morovan sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the game, FC boierasii mici's Petruț Ilie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciprian Burtescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of F.C. SOFYA booed when FC boierasii mici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Coroian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Pompiliu Spiridon made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Berca. FC boierasii mici's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

SOFYA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC boierasii mici:s goal. Aurel Coroian shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Vintilă Comișel's late challenge caught a FC boierasii mici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Comișel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C. SOFYA getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vintilă Comișel hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes F.C. SOFYA got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Comișel. Pompiliu Spiridon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Spiridon in the 90th minute of play forced FC boierasii mici's goalkeeper Aurelian Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. SOFYA's Dinu Morovan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Dinu Morovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pompiliu Spiridon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Aurelian Berca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, F.C. SOFYA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
