Eliodor Boieraș took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilie Itoafă. Delutu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Delutu getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Valer Pacuraru hit a great ball. When Gelu Tatu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Delutu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Tatu couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes of play, Delutu's Mihai Maiorescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valeriu Ozon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelu Tatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilie Itoafă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Herescu in the 21st minute of play. Delutu's Gelu Tatu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to OLIMPIC BOCSA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eliodor Boieraș hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes OLIMPIC BOCSA got a freekick which was hit by Costel Pencu. In the 35th minute of the match Gheorghe Voica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valeriu Ozon skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Maiorescu in the 37th minute of play forced OLIMPIC BOCSA's goalkeeper Valeriu Ozon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Mihai Maiorescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delutu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Narcis Vintilă kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind OLIMPIC BOCSA's goalkeeper Valeriu Ozon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gelu Tatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Valeriu Ozon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilie Itoafă came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by OLIMPIC BOCSA's Alin Herescu. But to his dismay, Alin Herescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. OLIMPIC BOCSA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gelu Tatu 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Ilie Itoafă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Herescu in the 87th minute of play. Ilie Itoafă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Troncotă, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Ionel Troncotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Corlățean's late challenge caught a OLIMPIC BOCSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Corlățean helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute of the match Eliodor Boieraș sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Itoafă skillfully saved the ball. The Delutu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
