A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Ciobanu in the 16th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Cazimir Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihnea Ciobanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cazimir Hulubei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Sebastian Baldazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Mihnea Ciobanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Hulubei came out of the goal and Mihnea Ciobanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mihnea Ciobanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Șişman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jigoreasa's Emanuel Luțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Zbârnea in the 25th minute of play. If Sebastian Baldazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cazimir Hulubei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Baldazar in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Virgil Levința got a free kick in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Mihnea Ciobanu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cazimir Hulubei. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihnea Ciobanu was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Mihnea Ciobanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jigoreasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihnea Ciobanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Jigoreasa booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Șişman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Mihnea Ciobanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jigoreasa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cazimir Hulubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Urducea in the 95th minute of play. Cazimir Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Baldazar in the 96th minute of the match. Jigoreasa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
