Manole Hârlab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Caciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dragheasa's Octav Bușcu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Florin Zgârcu in the 6 minute of the game. Dan Mihai charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Mihai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dragheasa's Dan Mihai got a free kick in the 8th minute. Emilian Troncotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Emilian Troncotă could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Gică Iulian however easily saved by the left post. Nistor Caciulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Dragonul's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Şunda came free, but Manole Hârlab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Dragheasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Bușcu to maneuver through the defense. Costin Şunda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Hârlab having to interfere. Nistor Caciulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manole Hârlab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nistor Caciulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Dragheasa's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Axinia came free, but Gică Iulian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes in the game, Ernest Axinia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gică Iulian having to interfere. Nistor Caciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Manole Hârlab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manole Hârlab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Caciulescu in the 45th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest Axinia to strike the kick off in the second half. Costin Şunda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Hârlab having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Costin Şunda made a precise shot to the right of Manole Hârlab. Dragonul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Manole Hârlab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Şunda in the 62nd minute of the match. Costin Şunda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Hârlab having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dragonul's Marcel Hortopan got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Costin Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragheasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Şunda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Costin Şunda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragheasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Şunda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Hârlab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Costin Şunda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Manole Hârlab managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Dragheasa's Costin Şunda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th minute, Costin Şunda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dragonul's zone, Nistor Caciulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Hârlab came out of the goal and Nistor Caciulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ernest Axinia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragonul's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Axinia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Iulian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Costin Şunda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manole Hârlab, 0-3. Dragheasa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
