After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Remus Rânceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SErioXul's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Rânceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Uduleanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Uduleanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Rânceanu in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of SErioXul booed when Ripensia UVT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Cornea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iurie Coșeriu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SErioXul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iurie Coșeriu couldn't finish the play. Iurie Coșeriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Rânceanu in the 15th minute of play forced Ripensia UVT's goalkeeper Emanuel Uduleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Uduleanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cazimir Tulbure. Cornel Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Marin in the 26th minute of the match. Iulian Cotoi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Cotoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iulian Cotoi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Ripensia UVT got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Şiman. Iurie Coșeriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ripensia UVT's Emanuel Uduleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Rânceanu in the 35th minute of play. Basarab Stoican hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Remus Rânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute of the match, Iulian Cotoi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Uduleanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Rânceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Uduleanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Rânceanu in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Iurie Coșeriu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ripensia UVT's Emanuel Uduleanu. Emanuel Uduleanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 64 minutes, Liviu Cornea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ripensia UVT and the SErioXul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ripensia UVT's Aurelian Şiman suffered a sore thigh after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. SErioXul's Iulian Cotoi got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Iulian Cotoi off the ground. After a rather tough play, SErioXul's Iulian Cotoi got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind SErioXul's goalkeeper Cornel Grozăvescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Remus Rânceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cornel Grozăvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, SErioXul's Iurie Coșeriu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Uduleanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
