Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dragheasa's Costin Şunda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gică Iulian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leontin Humă went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute, Leontin Humă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th match minute, Dragheasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Mihai to maneuver through the defense. Gică Iulian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Humă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Fundoia's zone, Nistor Caciulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Mohora came out of the goal and Nistor Caciulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes Dragheasa got a freekick which was hit by Eric Minea. Fundoia's Sabin Busuioceanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dragheasa. Gică Iulian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Caba in the 92nd minute of play.
