Remus Rânceanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manole Hârlab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remus Rânceanu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Rânceanu in the 10th minute of play forced Dragonul's goalkeeper Manole Hârlab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SErioXul booed when Dragonul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Lixandru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Hârlab didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, SErioXul's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Cobzeanu came free, but Cornel Grozăvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Cobzeanu's late challenge caught a SErioXul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Cobzeanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Dragonul got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Pencu. Remus Rânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iurie Coșeriu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manole Hârlab firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 30th minute, Remus Rânceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Hortopan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Cornel Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Axinia in the 33rd minute of the match. Cornel Grozăvescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Axinia in the 35th minute of play. Remus Rânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Remus Rânceanu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Emilian Troncotă notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SErioXul's Cornel Grozăvescu. Cornel Grozăvescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, Emilian Troncotă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornel Grozăvescu. SErioXul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilian Troncotă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Emilian Troncotă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Irinel Cobzeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Grozăvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Maxim Scripcaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Manole Hârlab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Emilian Troncotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dragonul booed when SErioXul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Cotoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Ernest Axinia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 88th minute, SErioXul's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ernest Axinia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ernest Axinia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cornel Grozăvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornel Grozăvescu was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Ernest Axinia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernest Axinia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dragonul had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
