After a defensive mix-up in Ripensia UVT's zone, Leontin Humă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Uduleanu came out of the goal and Leontin Humă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihnea Caba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Uduleanu having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Fundoia's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Hojbota came free, but Niculae Mohora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Mihnea Caba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripensia UVT's Emanuel Uduleanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelian Şiman's late challenge caught a Fundoia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Şiman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fundoia booed when Ripensia UVT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Şiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Olimpiu Chesaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripensia UVT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Chesaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niculae Mohora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Marin in the 40th minute of play forced Fundoia's goalkeeper Niculae Mohora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Fundoia's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Marin came free, but Niculae Mohora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Calistrat Hojbota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripensia UVT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calistrat Hojbota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihnea Caba in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Uduleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leontin Humă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Uduleanu having to interfere. The supporters of Ripensia UVT booed when Fundoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Gogea didn't get a good kick on the ball.
