When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Axinia made a kick off. With a little luck, Dragonul's Manole Hârlab got control of the ball when Basarab Ifrim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florin Zgârcu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Niculae Mohora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Axinia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Mihnea Caba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Hârlab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Troncotă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Mohora having to interfere. Dragonul's Manole Hârlab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Dragonul from getting a goal against them. Mihnea Cabas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Manole Hârlab to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Leontin Humă got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fundoia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
