Cornel Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Buhăescu in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Ciprian Buhăescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SErioXul's Cornel Grozăvescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SErioXul booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Levința didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remus Rânceanu to make the kick off. Cornel Grozăvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Zbârnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Iordache Dărăscu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgil Levința kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, AC Milan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iurie Coșeriu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Iurie Coșeriu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cazimir Hulubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SErioXul. Cazimir Tulbure kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ciprian Buhăescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Zbârnea in the 90th minute of play forced SErioXul's goalkeeper Cornel Grozăvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Zbârnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciprian Buhăescu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cornel Grozăvescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Milan. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
