Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mihnea Caba kicked off to start the match. Dragonul's Manole Hârlab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Caba in the 3rd minute of play. Manole Hârlab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mihnea Caba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Caba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manole Hârlab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leontin Humă struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Manole Hârlab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fundoia. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ernest Axinia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragonul's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Axinia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Mohora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Humă got free with Manole Hârlab in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match Sabin Busuioceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manole Hârlab skillfully saved the ball. Leontin Humă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Hârlab having to interfere. Leontin Humă kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Dragonul's keeper Manole Hârlab was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Dragonul's Manole Hârlab got control of the ball when Leontin Humă tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mihnea Caba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragonul's goalkeeper Manole Hârlab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fundoia's Leontin Humă got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Dragonul's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Caba came free, but Manole Hârlab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristi Gogea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernest Axinia made the kick off in the second half. Manole Hârlab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Caba in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fundoia's zone, Ernest Axinia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Mohora came out of the goal and Ernest Axinia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niculae Mohora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Axinia in the 61st minute of play. Leontin Humă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manole Hârlab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihnea Caba's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Leontin Humă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Fundoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Gogea to maneuver through the defense. Dragonul's Ernest Axinia got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Fundoia got a freekick which was hit by Paul Bădiliță. Andrei Brădean was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. Manole Hârlab came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fundoia's Leontin Humă. But to his dismay, Leontin Humă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leontin Humă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Manole Hârlab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fundoia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
