Spectators: 6811 (Terracing: 4985, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Remus Rânceanu started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ştefan Bărbuceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luminis's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Bărbuceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornel Grozăvescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Luminis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Drogoreanu to maneuver through the defense. Ştefan Bărbuceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, SErioXul's Cazimir Tulbure seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cazimir Tulbure the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SErioXul protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cazimir Tulbure had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SErioXul! Vintilă Drogoreanu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Cornel Grozăvescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luminis. After 35 played minutes SErioXul got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Alucusan. When Maxim Scripcaru fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SErioXul's protests and gave Maxim Scripcaru a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the match, Luminis's Sandu Timofte broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Ştefan Bărbuceanu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Luminis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ştefan Bărbuceanu couldn't finish the play. If Vintilă Drogoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luminis's Ştefan Bărbuceanu in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SErioXul's goalie prevented a goal. Vintilă Drogoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Grozăvescu having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Bărbuceanu made a kick off. SErioXul's Cornel Grozăvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Drogoreanu in the 53rd minute of play. Fabian Chiriac kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Fabian Chiriac hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Toader Hâncu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ştefan Bărbuceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, SErioXul's Cornel Grozăvescu got control of the ball when Vintilă Drogoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iurie Coșeriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornel Grozăvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Bărbuceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ştefan Bărbuceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Grozăvescu having to interfere. The nice shot from Vintilă Drogoreanu in the 79thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cornel Grozăvescu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ştefan Bărbuceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SErioXul's zone, Vintilă Drogoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornel Grozăvescu came out of the goal and Vintilă Drogoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vintilă Drogoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Luminis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Drogoreanu couldn't finish the play. Vintilă Drogoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cornel Grozăvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vintilă Drogoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luminis were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SErioXul to leave the ground with a draw.
