Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Ionașcu to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Dinamo Bucuresti defense, Damian Ionașcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Balint. The Dinamo Bucuresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Balint should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Buhaesti's Mihai Mușetescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panait Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buhaesti fully deserved thier win.
