Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valer Blănaru kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gelu Rădoi in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Balint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Petre Ciuvică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nae Omescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Maxim Dinculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandu Buculeasa's late challenge caught a Dinamo Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Buculeasa helped the player get up and apologised. Sandu Buculeasa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Nae Omescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marin Hâldan. Gelu Rădoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panait Balint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Maxim Dinculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Dinamo Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Avram Toma. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Dinculescu in the 22nd minute of play forced Dinamo Bucuresti's goalkeeper Panait Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panait Balint came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by REBCOS's Maxim Dinculescu. But to his dismay, Maxim Dinculescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Petre Ciuvică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Omescu having to interfere. After 30 played minutes REBCOS got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Iuga. 35 minutes into the game, Valer Blănaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nae Omescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petre Ciuvică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nae Omescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Rădoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Dinculescu made a kick off. Gelu Rădoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panait Balint having to make a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Maxim Dinculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REBCOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Dinculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Petre Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Omescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Petre Ciuvică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panait Balint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Dinculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Rădoi got free with Panait Balint in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. REBCOS's Nae Omescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Ciuvică in the 72nd minute of play. If Codruț Sfârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Buceceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Nae Omescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Blănaru in the 82nd minute of play. Gelu Rădoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maxim Dinculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nae Omescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Blănaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Petre Ciuvică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dinamo Bucuresti fans cheered their team off the field, for while REBCOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
