A collision led to FC Burebista getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mihail Sandu hit a great ball. Alin Olăroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Omescu having to interfere. Nae Omescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Carp, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When FC Burebista's Tiberiu Carp in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REBCOS's goalie prevented a goal. Nae Omescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, REBCOS's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Carp came free, but Nae Omescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to REBCOS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. David Cârstoiu hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tiberiu Carp made the kick off in the second half. Maxim Dinculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Petre Mărăscu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Dinculescu in the 57th minute of play forced FC Burebista's goalkeeper Petre Mărăscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alin Olăroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. REBCOS's Gigi Ştefoi got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Gigi Ştefoi off the ground. The supporters of FC Burebista booed when REBCOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Ştefoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nae Omescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Carp in the 71st minute of the match. Nae Omescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Carp in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Tiberiu Carp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Dinculescu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Mărăscu saved FC Burebista from getting behind. Maxim Dinculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petre Mărăscu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Dinculescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the FC Burebista defense, Maxim Dinculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Mărăscu. The FC Burebista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Mărăscu should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in REBCOS's zone, Tiberiu Carp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nae Omescu came out of the goal and Tiberiu Carp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. REBCOS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
