Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Octav Costache took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Iulian Răduța got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nechifor Cozaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Pelin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Octav Costache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Rădvan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's goalkeeper Răzvan Rădvan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Nechifor Cozaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Răzvan Rădvan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toader Diaconescu in the 19th minute. Octav Costache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Rădvan having to interfere. Octav Costache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Toader Diaconescu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Răzvan Rădvan. 33 minutes into the match, FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Costache came free, but Răzvan Rădvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Octav Costache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toader Diaconescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Rădvan having to interfere. Toader Diaconescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Răzvan Rădvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Costache in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Răzvan Rădvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iulian Răduța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nechifor Cozaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Caldarasti FC booed when FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezar Stoica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nechifor Cozaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Toader Diaconescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE defense, Toader Diaconescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Rădvan. The FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Rădvan should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Toader Diaconescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Răzvan Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Costache in the 67th minute of play. Toader Diaconescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Răzvan Rădvan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toader Diaconescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Octav Costache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Răzvan Rădvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Caldarasti FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Costică Aurelianu hit a great ball. Caldarasti FC's Toader Diaconescu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Doru Pelin fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's protests and gave Doru Pelin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's Doru Pelin got a free kick in the 96th minute.
