Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the match, Gigi Aaxiniei notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Busuletu FC's Valentin Vlaicu. Valentin Vlaicu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Busuletu FC's Virgil Tache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gigi Ignea in the 14 minute of the game. With a little luck, FC Timisoara's Aristide Armeanca got control of the ball when Virgil Tache tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 played minutes FC Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Ignea. Francisc Tremurici's late challenge caught a FC Timisoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Tremurici helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Busuletu FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Francisc Tremurici hit a great ball. Gigi Aaxiniei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Valentin Vlaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gigi Aaxiniei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Busuletu FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Dulca. After a rather tough play, Busuletu FC's Francisc Tremurici got a free kick in the 34th minute. Valentin Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Simionică in the 40th minute of play. Daniel Vasilică hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The Busuletu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Timisoara were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Simionică was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Manole Ceaușu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Timisoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manole Ceaușu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Simionică, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Aristide Armeanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Tremurici in the 63rd minute of play. Francisc Tremurici kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Busuletu FC's goalkeeper Valentin Vlaicu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigi Aaxiniei. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Valentin Vlaicu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Busuletu FC's Valentin Vlaicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Busuletu FC from getting a goal against them. Valentin Vlaicu was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Adrian Simionică capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Simionică really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Valentin Vlaicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Simionică in the 80th minute of play. Chants of FC Timisoara echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Busuletu FC had held the ball for most of the match.
